I think you all know my huge love for flowers, (peonies especially) cacti, fun house plants, succulents, etc. So when Aimie Ryan of Willow + Bear Floral Studio, based in Sydney, Australia came to me asking if I would like to be a part of her new rebranding process she was about to undergo, I of course said YES!

We all know that ordering and getting flowers delivered can be pretty expensive, but Willow + Bear lives by the phrase: “Flowers with Minimal Fuss.” Aimie see’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get fresh flowers at an affordable price and have them accessible to you on a regular basis with minimal fuss. When she started Willow + Bear, there were some things that were just going to have to wait that she wanted to develop, and a logo was one of them. With her love for my lettering, and a desire for a clean minimal look, we started work on her new look for Willow + Bear.
I am so excited to share all of it with you, but for now, lets start with the mood board and some inspirations! We’ve already changed some things since this, but Aimie’s desires were a black and white hand lettered logo in my lettering with a gestured circle element encompassing it. She has a number of different branding and packaging materials as well, which will be a place where we can inverse color and layout on a few of them to bring in some visual variety.
For the project as a whole, we’ll have final designs for business cards, gift tags, swing tags, flyers, stickers, and the coolest of them all, car signage! So stay tuned for more progress and updates on Willow + Bear!
So fun! Love the lighthearted yet minimal approach 🙂
Thanks Kelsey! I’ve loved this approach as well…its chic but still so relaxing to me which feels awesome 🙂
