Alyson Lott of BASH, previously named “Sugar and Bash,” has always been one of my favorites to follow ever since I can remember. With fun colors, awesome innovative ideas, and beautifully crafted photos, who can’t love such a great brand?!
She focuses her content on DIY projects, Interior Design, cooking, travel, and style. Allison was looking to rebrand herself and wasn’t feeling the current name anymore and with so many others out there with “sugar” in their name, she wanted to transition to something more original. Alyson’s dream has always been to start her own eDesign business as an online/more affordable interior designer catering towards a younger clientele. She mentioned how parting with the word “Bash” was so hard for her, so while brainstorming, she came up with numerous brand names including the word “bash.” Although some of the options from this list worked, it didn’t appear to me that she really LOVED any of them 100%.
So, next I said, “What about just Bash?” You love it and it encompasses you + your vision, so why not go with just that?! Now here we are, and BASH is now live!
Allison wanted to go with my more signature style of lettering for her logo with ink drops and splatter added in, while keeping the ink gradient characteristics as well. I think it was the perfect decision to complement the rest of the content and colors on her site!
