I wanted to share one of my favorite things from this past weeks First Friday’s event. 5 Points showcased its pop up shop and grand opening at 19 Below and it was amazing! I am still so in love with it! 5 points is a brand focused on the “pop up” experience. They want to be a part of music/art festivals, kick off week at colleges, etc, while providing innovative and original products you can’t find anywhere else. The brand lives by five points of creativity: MAKE, SAY, SHARE, LIVE, KEEP.
I am so happy and proud to say I know the illustrator who helped contribute to the start up of all of this as well. Allie Rotenberg, an extremely talented illustrator, created multiple amazing illustrations that were applied to a number of different products for 5 Points. See more of her awesome work at Daily Doodle and Allie Rotenberg.
At the 5 Points grand opening there was a floor to ceiling wood panel installed to engage the community in contributing to wall art and illustration. It was one of my favorite parts of the event. I snapped these while I was there!
It’s pretty apparent how much I love succulents, so my next favorite part of this event were this AMAZING Geo Planter by Industrial Designer, Tim Patch, and made by Brock DeBoer. The geometric planters come in three different versions: single color 3D printed, ceramic (thin gold edge), and ceramic (thick gold edge). I love them ALL so much! I’ll be sure to post how I style mine soon!

Here’s a look at all the sweet stuff I came home with from 5 Points! (the black package is the Geo Planter which you’ll see soon, remember!)
I’m really excited to see what 5 Points does next! See more on 5 Points via Alexandra Sperrazza
