To continue my cut shape/paper inspiration, Kitty McCall is another designer that has been very inspiring to me. Her work uses color while also at times bringing pattern into different fields of shapes. I love all of these pillows designs, but this first one here using multiple colors is my favorite. It’s so energetic and happy! Which design is your favorite?!
I always enjoy these posts. Like I’ve mentioned in previous ones, it’s a great way for me to see how my work has changed and evolved, what colors I’m using, and which styles I’m loving as well. I love the pastels here in this composition with touches of neon purple. Although I love my work and this style, I’ve been feeling like I want to see something more…something different. It’s taken me a bit, but I think I’ve finally found it (for the time being). I will of course share more when it’s ready! Happy lettering everyone!
I’ve been really inspired the past few months with cut paper, shapes, and how they form patterns and other design compositions together. Beci chooses really unique shapes when working which is why I’m drawn to both of them. Read More
Alyson Lott of BASH, previously named “Sugar and Bash,” has always been one of my favorites to follow ever since I can remember. With fun colors, awesome innovative ideas, and beautifully crafted photos, who can’t love such a great brand?! Read More
For about the past year now, I’ve been on a quest. I haven’t talked much about it on here, or any other platforms really which is why I’m sharing it all now! I had no idea that it would turn out the way that it has, but as it has unfolded and evolved, I’m so thankful everyday for the course that it has taken.
