To continue my cut shape/paper inspiration, Kitty McCall is another designer that has been very inspiring to me. Her work uses color while also at times bringing pattern into different fields of shapes. I love all of these pillows designs, but this first one here using multiple colors is my favorite. It’s so energetic and happy! Which design is your favorite?!
I always enjoy these posts. Like I’ve mentioned in previous ones, it’s a great way for me to see how my work has changed and evolved, what colors I’m using, and which styles I’m loving as well. I love the pastels here in this composition with touches of neon purple. Although I love my work and this style, I’ve been feeling like I want to see something more…something different. It’s taken me a bit, but I think I’ve finally found it (for the time being). I will of course share more when it’s ready! Happy lettering everyone!
